Company profile
In 1988 Dave McGough, a former council employee, started his own plumbing business working from his home in Gateshead.
Twenty years later the company is one of the most successful plumbing, heating and mechanical services businesses in North East England working on major industrial, commercial and local authority contracts.
In 2006 the company moved into new, purpose built premises allowing room for further expansion.
Resources
Our workforce is our most valuable resource. We have a team of 60 operatives who are qualified to work on gas, water and unvented installations. For larger projects we employ ASME 9 coded welders. Our team of contract managers/engineers and administrative staff provide technical support and back-up to ensure that all contracts are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
We invest in the development of our workforce and are currently training three apprentices. All operatives have completed the CITB certification scheme in health and safety. Operatives working with gas are qualified under the National Accredited Certification Scheme for individual gas fitting operatives (ACS).
Our 600 sq m modern premises in Blaydon comprises a very large store with offices above.
